Palm Springs, California

A couple of months back, one of my photo buddy Lauren and I went to Palm Springs to shoot some personal work. We met up super early, made a quick stop at Starbucks, and made it to Palm Springs right at sunrise. (For those of you that don’t know me, I am quite the early riser, so 4:30am wasn’t too far off my 5am wake up call.) We started shooting as we entered Palm Springs. If you haven’t been up that early in a while, as the sun comes up, it creates such a blue cool look on everything, and as the sun breaks over the horizon, everything instantly becomes warm and alive. It’s actually quite beautiful. Lauren and I drove around town, (she drove, I rode shotgun) we stopped at some locations we liked, Del Taco for a pit stop, and then shot some more, around 8:30am the sun was so hot that my skin was on fire. It was one of those heats that just sneak up on you. All of a sudden I was like… “Dang, it’s really hot.” I spotted a bank marquee and it said 83 degrees at 8:30am. We kept shooting until we got hungry, ate, and headed back to town. Here are a few of my favorite shots. I hope y’all like them.
